BADMINTON

BENCH PRESS / POWER LIFTING

Day: Thur
Guiding Bodies: OLEAA, CPA
Requirements: The weighing will be held, two hours prior to the event. Your lifting costume shall be a One Piece lifting suit. The suit must have legs and the length of the legs shall not exceed 15 cm. from the middle of the crotch. The Titan "Centurion" is legal for competition. Erectors shirts, shorts, or squat briefs are permitted. For those who do not have the above mentioned equipment, you may use a tight fitting t-shirt and shorts.

CYCLING ROAD RACE

Requirements: Approved hard shell helmet must be worn at all times.
Style: A combination of laps for a total of 55 km. distance.
Age Categories: Individual age, open for doubles.
Facilities: Showers and BBQ at the lodge of Camp Fortune. This year the cycling road race will be held in the Gatineau Park. Not only will the competitors be competing in one of the most beautiful scenic area of the National Capital Region, but it will also be car free.

CYCLING MOUNTAIN BIKE

Requirements: Each competitor is required to provide their own mechanically sound bicycle and approved helmet. An age group mass start event. The course is hilly, combination, technical, single track paths. Competitors will complete 2 circuits of 6.9 KM.
Age Categories: Individual age, open for doubles.
Facilities: Showers and BBQ at the lodge of Camp Fortune.

Requirements: Team (2) person best ball event . the medal presentations will be presented before the meal.

Team age will be determined by the total age, divided by 2.

MOTORCYCLES

Requirements: Each competitor will provide their own police motorcycle. All drivers MUST be in full uniform. All motorcycles must be a min. of 998 ccs. There will be 4 mandatory courses.
Events: Slow Ride
Divisions: Average turning radius under and over 18 feet.
Age Categories: Open, Male and female.

OBSTACLE ASSAULT COURSE

Day: Wed
Guiding Body: OLEAA
Requirements: Each competitor must complete the course to receive a time. This will be based on time only.
There will be 14 stations and two participants at a time. There will be a walk through prior to the commencement of the event. The team portion will be divided in two. One competitor will start and the other team member will finish. The team event will be at the end of the individual event.
Events: Singles and Doubles.
Age Categories: Individual open for doubles.
This event will take place at the Connaught Range D.N.D. This facility was originally built for the Canadian Armed Forces Championship Obstacle Assault Course.

 
POCKET BILLIARDS

Requirements:

SERVICE DOG

Guiding Body: OLEAA
Requirements: The handler may enter as many dogs in any of the events. All dogs MUST be working for a law enforcement agency. The events will be : Obedience, Agility, Area Search, Dope / Bomb, Apprehension. All handlers will be required to wear their working uniform without side harm.
Bracketing: Point system.
Handlers and officials meeting before each event.

Requirements: For Semi-Automatic pistols, Canadian Laws prohibit magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds being brought into the country. Classification will be determined after the individual 1500 match. This classification will then be used for the Semi Auto & team event.
Events: Range 50 yards
1500 match individual: 150 rounds
Semi-Automatic match: 60 rounds
Team match: 60 rounds for both matches

RIFLE SMALL BORE
Day: Fri.
Guiding Bodies: OLEAA, UIT
Requirements: Iron sights only, 60 rounds plus sighters. The distance will be 25 yards indoor. Classification will be determined after the individual prone match. Your classification will then be used for all other events. Team Matches will consist of a paper match for the three positions and prone. A team will consist of two members.
Rifles: All rifles chambered for rim fire (.22 cal.). Free rifle must not exceed 8 kg. including palm rest and butt plate, grip for right hand may not rest on the sling or on the left arm, barrels and extension tubes must not be perforated in any way.
Age Categories: Open, unisex.
Events: 3 positions & prone 60 rds. match.

 
SLO PITCH

Days: Wed, Thur, Fri
Guiding Bodies: OLEAA, S C.
Requirements: Max. of 15 person team plus one non-playing coach for male and female teams with a minimum of 10 players on the field.
NOTE: There will be a max. of 5 runs and 1 home run per inning.
Coed Teams: This section requires teams to field five females and five males. Six female and six males, if designated hitter is used. Players may only play on one team per division. Failure to comply, player will be ejected from competition and penalized team will forfeit any win. No metal or hard plastics cleats allowed. Competitors who are competing in the 2 events, must pay an additional $5.00 fee.
Bracketing: Round robin format.

Divisions: Male, Female & Coed.

 
SOCCER 5 on 5

Days: Thur, Open Fri Coed
Guiding Bodies: OLEAA
Requirements: Max. of 8 person team plus one non-playing coach for male and female teams with a minimum of 4 with a max. of 5 players on the field.

Requirements: This event is based on the popular TV show depicting participants to show their strength in a number of stages. Each competitor will demonstrate their strength capabilities in different stages of the competition which will include the following: car pulling, throwing of the tire, carrying a load of cement bricks, holding cement blocks.

Guiding Bodies: OLEAA, FINA, IPF, IAFF
Requirements: All components of the event are completed in a single day of competition. The winner is determined by the number of points that the competitor has accumulated throughout the day. All competitors must start each stage of the event or are disqualified from competition.
Order of events: 3 mile run, 16 lbs. shot put, 100m run, 100m swim, 20 foot rope climb, bench press, pull-ups (overhand) and obstacle course.
Teams: Will consist of two members and must be recorded prior to the start of the event.
Age Categories: Individual age.
Team Events: Open age.
Note of items that are NOT allowed:
Gloves, Lifting shirts.

WALL CLIMBING

Day: Fri.
Guiding Body: OLEAA
Requirements: Competitors are responsible for their own rappel gear and spotter. The competitors will have a time limit of two minutes for preparation time. The event will start when the competitor touches the wall or when the time allocated is passed. The event will be based on points per station that were reached successfully with the tie breaker being decided on time. Competitors will have two attempts at the climb. Degree of difficulty will be intermediate with a 5-8 to 5-9 level.
